Singaporean esports team Paper Rex announced the end of their contract with Valorant assistant coach Bulb on September 10. The coaching staff will now consist of only one coach—alecks.
Bulb, 28, began his career in the competitive CS scene in 2017 under the alias Bobosaur. Throughout his career, he has played for leading Singaporean teams such as B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape, Paper Rex, and Huat Zai, and has participated in international tournaments including IEM Shanghai 2018 and IEM Sydney 2019.
After leaving the CS team Huat Zai in 2021, Bulb had been absent from esports, but he returned in June of this year, announcing his transition to the role of Valorant assistant coach at Paper Rex, with whom he previously had close ties.

Head coach alecks remarked:
Bulb’s experience as a player will bring a fresh perspective to the team. He understands what needs to be done and has a calm demeanor. We hope his composure and lack of nervousness will benefit the team.
Under his guidance, the team achieved third place at VCT PACIFIC 2024 Stage 3 and qualified for VALORANT Champions 2024. Following Bulb’s departure, the Paper Rex roster will be updated. For future details, stay tuned to our portal bo3.
