OREsports faced a barrage of criticism after it became known that they are disbanding their Valorant roster

Today, the Valorant community is frequently discussing the Indian organization OREsports and its treatment of its team. Recently, the club's representatives announced that they are disbanding their Valorant roster, which led to a wave of criticism.

Yesterday, in their official Twitter account, the organization bid farewell to all players and the coaching staff of Valorant. The team made this decision after an unsuccessful current season and said goodbye to the players in their official social networks, thanking them for their cooperation.

After careful consideration, we have decided to part ways with our VALORANT team and leave the 2024 season. This decision was very difficult; we want to express our gratitude to our players for the time spent with us and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

After this, the famous Danish journalist Bo Hoogland expressed his dissatisfaction with this decision. He argued that the organization puts players in a disadvantageous position. This is because the Challengers league starts in just a month, and the former OREsports players who could participate in it will have very little time to find a new club.

There is nothing more contemptuous than an organization that gives up on Challengers and releases its players in damn DECEMBER, WHEN Challengers STARTS IN JANUARY/FEBRUARY. Such decisions need to be made much earlier!

It should be reminded that the OREsports roster was formed in January 2023, but in a year's time, it did not achieve any significant results. The club failed in both stages of VALORANT Challengers 2023: North America, with their only achievement being a 3-4th place at the off-season Sean Gares Showdown.

It is worth noting that Bo Hoogland's dissatisfaction is quite logical. While there is no exact date for the start of the contenders league in the American region, judging from last year's events, it will start at the end of January. As a result, the former players of OREsports have almost no chance of finding a new home to participate in Challengers, as most teams are already formed.
