Current Orangutan team roster:
The organization is parting ways with the coach during their participation in the EMG Pro Series: South Asia, where the team currently leads the group with five victories and one defeat. Felipe "skyeSG" Lim is likely to serve as the interim coach during the tournament, and he might eventually become the permanent coach if he proves successful in this role.
Achievements with theDoctorr
Coach Mathanraj "theDoctorr" Munisparan joined the team ahead of the VCL South Asia: Split season 1 2023, precisely on April 23, 2023. During this period with the new coach, the team participated in three tournaments:
- VCL South Asia: Split season 1 2023 (1st place)
- VCL South Asia: Split season 2 2023 (1st place)
- VCT Challengers Ascension: Pacific 2023 (9-10th place)
The team with the new coach showcased remarkable results in South Asia. However, when they participated in a tournament gathering the best tier 2 teams from the entire Pacific region, they only secured the 9-10th place. This might have been a primary reason for parting ways with the coach, prompting a complete reconsideration of the team's approach.
theDoctorr's Future
Mathanraj "theDoctorr" Munisparan announced that he no longer wishes to be a coach and wants to return to a player role. He declared on his Twitter account that he is actively looking for a new team as a primary player for all roles, except duelist.
