NRG officially confirmed Marved's departure from the team and Demon1's move to the bench

On May 26, the North American esports team NRG announced the termination of Marved contract and the transfer of Demon1 to the bench in the Valorant roster.

Marved, 24, began his esports career in 2015, participating in CS tournaments, and switched to Valorant in April 2020. In July of the same year, he joined FaZe, moved to Envy in June 2021, and in February 2022, to OpTic Gaming. With these teams, he won VCT 2022 Stage 1 Masters and took second place at VALORANT Champions 2022. In September 2022, the team did not qualify for the league, and Marved announced a temporary retirement from esports due to burnout syndrome.

Demon1, 21, started his Valorant career in 2022, participating in amateur tournaments. In December of the same year, he joined Evil Geniuses and took 3rd place at VCT Americas 2023, second place at VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo, and won VALORANT Champions 2023. Last December, he left Evil Geniuses and joined NRG along with Ethan. The team with such experienced players finished 9-10th out of 11 at VCT Americas 2024.

The old NRG roster retained its format and looks as follows. However, the names of the other two members are still unknown, but there were rumors recently that FNS and s0m would take their places.
