Nixerino leaves Valorant and ends his esports career

Today, sad news emerged for all fans of the Spanish Valorant scene. Professional player Nicolás “Nixerino” Canellas announced on his official social networks that he is leaving Valorant and completely ending his career in esports.

In his official Twitter account, Nicolás “Nixerino” Canellas released an eleven-minute video. In it, the esports athlete talks about his long journey in esports, starting from 2013, thanking everyone he met and had the opportunity to compete with. Nicolás also discusses his future plans, which are closely related to programming. According to him, he always dreamed of learning this, and now he has finally succeeded.

Nicolás “Nixerino” Canellas is a 24-year-old professional Spanish player. From 2015 to 2021, he spent time on the professional League of Legends scene, after which he transitioned to Valorant. As a player in the Riot Games shooter, he long competed for the Spanish national team, where he failed at the last Spike Nations #4, resulting in his team finishing in 5th place. As a member of Movistar Riders, the professional also did not achieve significant success, and the team failed to make it to the main tier-2 tournament scene in 2023.

As Nicolás reported, he does not plan to return to the esports environment. Therefore, his fans only wished him success in his future life, and in continuing his beloved profession.
