Riot Games has finally unveiled the details about the new agent in Valorant. In the official trailer and gameplay video, Vyse's appearance and abilities were showcased. She will be available in the game with the next major update.
New Agent Vyse
Vyse is set to join Valorant as a sentinel agent. She possesses a unique set of abilities focused on defense and countering duelists, particularly by isolating them from the rest of their team. You can check out her appearance in the video below.
Vyse's Abilities
Like other agents in Valorant, Vyse has three standard abilities and an ultimate: Razorvine (C), Shear (Q), Arc Rose (E), and Steel Garden (X). All her abilities are designed to protect and repel enemy attacks, fitting her role as a sentinel. You can see all her abilities in action in the video below.
When does the new Valorant agent come out?
Vyse will be introduced with the start of Act 2, Episode 9, scheduled for August 28-29, depending on the region. Players in the Americas will get to try her out earlier than those in Europe.
How to Unlock Vyse?
New agents in Valorant are not immediately available to all players. To unlock Vyse, you'll need to accumulate 200,000 XP within a month. If you don't manage this in time, you'll have to spend either 1,000 Valorant Points or 8,000 Kingdom Points.
