NaVi had no chance against Team Heretics, while Fnatic defeated BBL Esports - Results of the second day of EMEA Stage 2

The regular season of the Valorant Champions Tour 2024: Stage 2 recently began in each competitive region, with teams starting their battle for a spot in the world championship. Yesterday, the matches of the second day in the EMEA region took place, and the results were quite unexpected.

In the first match, a clash occurred between the current regional favorites, Fnatic, and the Turkish club BBL Esports. Despite a series of defeats after a successful 2023, the "Oranges" managed to overcome their opponents, although the match extended over three maps. Ultimately, after Ascent 13-9, Bind 11-13, and Lotus 13-11, Fnatic earned their first victory in the tournament.

In the second match, we witnessed a meeting between Natus Vincere and Team Heretics. The latter had recently performed excellently at Masters Shanghai, securing second place, while the Ukrainian team is also not considered weak. Despite this, Team Heretics effortlessly defeated NaVi on two maps, Sunset 13-3 and Bind 13-5, thus securing their first victory in the tournament.

Valorant Champions Tour 2024: EMEA Stage 2 is taking place from June 18 to July 20 in a LAN format at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin. Eleven partner teams from the region are competing for three direct invitations to the upcoming world championship, as well as EMEA Points, which are necessary for qualification.
