Modoka Moriyoshi becomes Sengoku Gaming ambassador for VCJ 2024 Split 2

Esports team Sengoku Gaming has announced the appointment of former player Modoka Moriyoshi as a special ambassador for a limited period during the VCJ 2024 Split 2 tournament. Moriyoshi will represent the team at their booth during the break on July 28th.

Additionally, the team’s booth will feature a promotion where visitors can get an autograph on merchandise with a purchase. Modoka Moriyoshi commented on her appointment on her X page:

I love VALORANT, we’re from the same Fukuoka prefecture, and importantly, SG is a strong team, so I supported them as a fan. Now I have the opportunity to help them. What a cool title!

VCJ 2024 Split 2 is an official tournament organized by Riot Games, running from May to July 2024. The offline playoffs will take place on July 27th and 28th at the Ariake GYM-EX. Sengoku Gaming finished 2nd on the main stage with a result of 5 wins and 2 losses, earning them a spot in the offline tournament.

In the lower bracket final, the team will face the previous champion FENNEL. Sengoku Gaming is aiming for victory and participation in the Ascension tournament to qualify for the International League in 2025.
