“Mini, I'm coming for you” – alfajer on upcoming match against Paper Rex

Emir "Alfajer" Beder gave a post-match interview after winning his playoff debut at VALORANT Champions 2025 against DRX, where he commented on his performance in the Sentinel role and also “warned” his former coach.

Jacob "mini" Harris, former Fnatic coach, is currently assisting Paper Rex during Champions 2025. On September 28, the two teams will clash for a spot in the upper bracket final.

If you had to compare the team back in 2023 and the team today, what do you think you guys have improved the most?

I think we had a good energy today. Overall, I think we were fighting all the time. Even when it's 2–10, we believe we can come back. Just trust the process. I think it was energy, to be honest — the main key here, for sure.

We got to see you back on your prime role — Sentinel. How does it feel being back on the role you started with at Fnatic?

From my perspective, I'm getting bored of playing Sentinel, but whenever I play Sentinel, we are like the best. Is it a sacrifice for the team you're making? Yeah, I can do sacrifices for this team, so it's fine.

You’re going to be facing Paper Rex next round — another rematch. What will it take this time to be different? What will it take for you guys to win?

I have no idea for now. We used to play against them; we played twice in the last three months, so we know how to play against them. Mini, listen to me — Mini, I'm coming for you.
