The group stage of VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 is nearing its end, with Week 3 wrapping up yesterday. Two matches took place on the final day of the week, and we’re here to break down the results.

FURIA vs Leviatan

The first match featured a clash between regional underdogs FURIA and mid-tier team Leviatan, and the outcome was as expected. The Argentine squad secured two easy wins 13:4 on Ascent and 13:5 on Pearl — once again solidifying the Brazilian team’s status as the bottom seed.

Cloud9 vs MIBR

The second match saw a showdown between evenly matched teams Cloud9 and MIBR, and it turned out to be a tense battle. Cloud9 claimed a hard-fought 13:9 win on the first map, Pearl. On Lotus, the game went to overtime, where MIBR managed to clutch a 15:13 victory. The decider was played on Haven, where MIBR prevailed once again with a 13:9 scoreline, securing the series win.

VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1 is taking place from March 21 to May 4 in a LAN format at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles. Twelve partnered VCT Americas teams are competing for three spots at Masters Toronto and valuable Americas Points, which will determine who qualifies for Champions 2025.
