Not long ago, we shared a story in which player yay discussed internal issues at Bleed Esports. In response, MentalistC, who previously played for the Rainbow Six team BLD, stated that the salaries of the VALORANT players were being paid from the prize pool of the R6S division. His comments sparked a wide response within the community.
Yes, your salary was paid from our prize pool.
Previously, there were reports of unpaid salaries within the VALORANT division of BLD, but it became clear that similar issues also affected the Counter-Strike 2 and Rainbow Six Siege teams. Terdsta, a player from the R6S division, reported that by October 2024, the debt had exceeded $35,000.
The Rainbow Six division of Bleed Esports was considered one of the most successful in the organization. The team placed 9–12th at the Six Invitational 2024 and 5–8th at the Esports World Cup. The total prize money for 2024 amounted to $241,500.
Despite this, players hardly received any salary. On November 22, the team officially left BLD to maintain eligibility for the Six Invitational. It was later confirmed that the team would be able to participate in the tournament as an amateur squad.
yay said he got paid for the most part

yea, because you got paid with our prize money, bro 💀💀💀@yay https://t.co/LR6vrrUpXS
MentalistC Reaction
MentalistC criticized the organization's leadership:
We were the only stable source of prize money for BLD. If only some players were receiving salaries, where did that money come from?
He later clarified that he did not intend to come across as hostile:
Sorry for the tone. I meant to say that your salary might have been paid from our prize pool.
However, MentalistC emphasized that his frustration was due to the unfair distribution of funds:
Those of us bringing money to BLD didn't get paid, while others (such as VALORANT players) received compensation. They paid the players to silence them.
yay Reaction
Player yay responded to the situation, noting that Riot Games provides funding to its partner teams, and expressed regret over the situation:
I doubt he used your money, but I understand how terrible the situation is—I’ve been through it myself.
The management issues at Bleed Esports continue to attract attention from the community. Amid widespread accusations of unpaid salaries and prize money, there is hope that all players and staff members of the organization will receive the compensation they deserve.
