Meiy: "DRX is a strong team, we've learned a lot"

On July 7, Day 2 of Week 4 of VCT 2024: Pacific Stage 2, DRX secured a victory over DetonatioN FocusMe with a score of 2-1. This match was crucial for both teams, especially for DFM, who finished the season with 2 wins and 8 losses. Players from both teams gave brief interviews at the post-match press conference.

Players and coaches from both teams shared their impressions after the match. Meiy from DFM noted that DRX is a strong team and this match was a significant challenge for them. He also expressed regret to DFM fans for the less successful season but highlighted gaining confidence and experience in the game.

DRX is a strong team, and this was the last match of the season for DFM, so I felt it was a very important match. This year, I only managed to win two games, so I am sorry for all the DFM fans who supported us. However, this season I gained a lot of confidence and I think I became one of the best players in the league.

Astell, DFM coach, added that while DRX were strong, his team managed to resist and win one of the maps. He also emphasized the importance of preparation and strategy against such experienced opponents.

DRX was strong, but still managed to take one map. Icebox and Haven are in a bad mood this year, which is a bit disappointing. Over the past year, everyone in the team has grown. Mei played very well and led on many maps. Other players also made good decisions.
