Mazino announces search for new team after contract with Leviatán ends

On September 4, Mazino, a player from Leviatán, announced his LFT (Looking for Team) status on X (formerly Twitter). In his statement, he said:

My contract with Leviatán is about to expire. It might be extended, but I am also considering options with other teams as a restricted free agent. I am open to offers from all regions and eager for victories.

At 23 years old, Mazino began his Valorant career in 2020, joining KRÜ Esports in January the following year. During his time with KRÜ Esports, he achieved significant success, including back-to-back wins in South American tournaments and participation in six international competitions. At VALORANT Champions 2021, his team reached fourth place, which was the best result for South American teams at the time.

In October 2022, Mazino signed with Leviatán, a rival of KRÜ Esports, ahead of the International League. The team won the off-season Valorant LATAM Gods tournament and placed eighth at VCT 2023 LOCK//IN. However, in the regular season, the team finished fifth and failed to qualify for international tournaments, placing second at LCQ.

In the 2024 season, Mazino joined the team with aspas, tex, and C0M, leading to an international roster. The team achieved third place at VCT AMERICAS 2024 Stage 1 and won Stage 2, also qualifying for VCT 2024 Masters Shanghai and VALORANT Champions 2024, where Mazino achieved his best result, placing third.

Mazino is known for his broad agent pool, including Sage, Harbor, Omen, KAY/O, Breach, Skye, and Viper, and has long been one of the top flex players in South America. In the current season, he recorded a K/D of 1.23, demonstrating his versatility and form. The Leviatán roster, from which Mazino is leaving, now awaits updates.
