The match between the Brazilian team LOUD and the European team FNATIC in the final of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2023: LOCK//IN tournament has become the most-watched professional match in the history of 2023.

According to Esports Charts data, the showdown was watched by over 1.4 million people, marking a 30% increase compared to the previous record set in the 2022 World Championship final between Sentinels and Gambit.

The LOCK//IN tournament took place in Brazil from February to March 2023, featuring all 32 Valorant franchise teams and two guests from the Chinese scene. It was the first of three international championships held in Brazil in this season.

 
 

The tournament's final was highly intense and spectacular. FNATIC won the first two maps, but LOUD managed to stage a comeback and level the series. In the fifth and deciding map, the Brazilian team even took the lead with a score of 11-3 but eventually lost in overtime.

LOUD's defeat disappointed Brazilian fans, but the match, overall, was recognized as one of the best in Valorant history, judging by its viewership.
