Leviatan proves stronger than KRU Esports - recap of the first day of Superdome 2023 - Colombia

The first day of the highly anticipated Superdome 2023 - Colombia tournament has concluded, where four invited teams began their battle for the champion's cup and a prize pool of $30,000.

After the end of the regular season, each of the four tournament participants made significant changes to their lineups. For three of them, Superdome 2023 - Colombia was their first official tournament where they could showcase the extent to which these changes have enhanced their strength. This event was long-awaited by both the teams and the fans of the Valorant scene.

KRU Esports faced significant difficulties in their match against Leviatan due to the absence of their main roster player Angelo "keznit" Mori, who could not participate in the tournament due to personal reasons. Leviatan secured an easy victory in the match with a score of 2:0 (Lotus 13:4, Breeze 13:3).

The match between FURIA Esports and Cloud9 turned out to be exciting and intriguing, in contrast to the first game. The beginning was challenging for the American club, but they managed to recover, win their map, and ultimately secure victory in the decisive game. The encounter ended with Cloud9's victory with a score of 2:1 (Breeze 7:13, Sunset 13:4, Ascent 13:7). It is important to note that this tournament is the third for the renewed lineup of Cloud9, giving them more coherence and confidence than FURIA Esports, for whom this is their first competition with the current roster.

On November 11, the second day of the Superdome 2023 - Colombia tournament will take place, during which two matches will be played. The outcomes will determine the first finalist of the tournament and the team that will be leaving the competition.
