Both teams made changes to their roster after the end of the season. However, despite the tournament not taking place on their home turf, Cloud9 started strong and finished the group stage in first place. This allowed them to advance directly to the finals of the TEN Valorant Global Invitational. While DRX's path was significantly different from the first, the team struggled in the group stage and began their journey from the quarterfinals, but ultimately made it to the finals by defeating two teams along the way.
The final took place in a best-of-three format and concluded after three maps. Each team chose their favorite maps. It's worth noting that for DRX, playing on their chosen map proved to be difficult, and Cloud9 convincingly won on their own map with a score of 13:2. Everything was decided on the third and deciding map, where the American team secured a victory against Lotus with some difficulty, with a score of 13:9.
