Leviatan guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, while LOUD still hasn't won a single match - Results of VCT Americas Stage 1

The group stage of the Valorant Champions Tour 2024: Americas League - Stage 1 is drawing to a close. Yesterday marked the end of the last matches of the fourth week, determining the team that secured a place in the playoff stage.

The first match took place between Leviatan and G2 Esports, and it stretched over 3 maps. On the first map, Breeze, the Argentine tops confirmed their choice and won with a score of 13-6. On the second map, Icebox, the German team reciprocated and won with a score of 13-8. The match was decided on Lotus, where after a fierce fight with a score of 13-9, Leviatan emerged as winners. As a result of the match, the team moved up to the first position in the tournament table with a score of 3-1, securing their passage to the playoff stage, despite having one more match ahead.

The second clash of the day was between KRU Esports and LOUD. Despite the latter's title, they continued their losing streak and have not won a single match since the start of the tournament. The encounter took place on two maps, Split and Ascent, and both times KRU Esports emerged as the winner with the same score of 13-8. As a result of the match, the winners moved to the top of their group with a score of 4-1, but even this does not guarantee them a passage to the playoffs.
