Legendary comeback - Xand returns to FURIA's lineup after two years out of the team

Since the beginning of 2024, the Brazilian collective FURIA Esports has made several changes to its Valorant team, and yesterday they announced another new addition. Representatives of the organization have reported that well-known Brazilian player and streamer Alexandre "xand" Zizi, who previously played under the FURIA banner two years ago, has rejoined the team.

This decision was made public through the team's official social networks. On their Twitter account, the organization's representatives announced that it was time to start a new chapter with the well-known player who had previously defended the FURIA flag at international tournaments.

Alexandre "xand" Zizi is an experienced 29-year-old professional Valorant player. He started his career in mid-2020. After being part of two clubs, the professional first joined FURIA in January 2021 and spent exactly one year there. During this time, the team finished in 3rd-4th place at VCT 2021: Brazil Stage 1 Masters and also won the VCT 2021: South America Last Chance Qualifier, with a prize of $16,000. After that, Alexandre left the team, and until yesterday, he had been with 7 different teams, serving as both a player and a streamer.

Note that with xand's addition, the main FURIA roster will now include 6 players, so it is unclear whether he will return to the main lineup or will be a substitute for some time.
