Korean top team DRX has no plans to change the current Valorant roster

According to the Valorant Champions Tour Global Contract Database, the Korean organization DRX has renewed contracts with four main players. Zest, Rb, MaKo, and team captain stax have extended their agreement with the organization until 2026.

DRX's performance since the start of the season has been quite mediocre. The team performed well at the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN São Paulo, where they took 3rd-4th place, and in the regional season of VCT 2023: Pacific League - 2nd place. However, the next two big tournaments ended without prize places, VCT 2023: Masters Tokyo - 7-8th place, and at the world championship, the team was close to entering the top four but eventually took 5-6th place.

Current DRX roster

  • Kim "stax" Gu-taek
  • Goo "Rb" Sang-min
  • Kim "Zest" Gi-seok
  • Byung-chul "BuZz" Yu
  • Kim "MaKo" Myeong-kwan
  • Jung "Foxy9" Jae-sung

We remind you that the official transfer window is currently open on the Valorant competitive scene. This means that most teams are testing new players and making changes to the current roster. It is quite surprising that DRX has not yet announced any changes, but the question of the other two participants, Foxy9 and BuZz, whose contracts end in 2024 and 2025, remains open. The team awaits the Red Bull Home Ground #4, where 8 teams from tier-1 and tier-2 scenes will compete for the total prize pool, the amount of which is still unknown.
