KOI, Movistar Riders, and MAD Lions announce merger

Representatives of three Spanish organizations, KOI, Movistar Riders, and MAD Lions, announced on January 4th their merger into a single organization. The new organization will have two rosters in Valorant - a men's and a women's team.

The women's team will represent the newly formed organization in the Game Changers tournament under the new tag - MAD Lions KOI. The specific lineup is not yet known, but information about it is expected to be released shortly.

The main roster will compete in the VCT EMEA League under the new tag - Movistar KOI, and will include players from the previous KOI lineup. However, it is likely that the roster may undergo some changes before the start of the competitive season in 2024.

It is important to note that the merger took place not only in Valorant but also in other disciplines, such as CS2 and League of Legends.
