Since the beginning of 2024, the American team FlyQuest Red has undergone several changes in its Valorant roster, and today it was announced that there is a new addition to the team. Club representatives have informed that Canadian coach Declan "KingFred" Olien is joining the coaching staff as an assistant.
The team announced this decision on their official social media channels. It should be noted that both the team's management and KingFred himself spoke quite unemotionally about the start of this collaboration. The club representatives simply welcomed the new coach assistant to their ranks, while Declan himself only stated the beginning of a new path.
Declan "KingFred" Olien is a Canadian coach who started his career in Valorant in mid-2022. During this time, he has been a part of several teams, the most famous being Evil Geniuses GC. Under his leadership, the women's team of the "Geniuses" won the VCT 2023: Game Changers North America Series S3, and later finished in 7th-8th place at the women's world championship.

Now, the coaching staff of FlyQuest Red is fully assembled and has already begun preparing the team for upcoming competitions. The next tournament for the team is the VCT 2024: Game Changers North America Series 2, scheduled to start on June 11th.
