Brazilian club Keyd Stars announced on their Twitter page that after three years since signing their first player, they are officially leaving the competitive Valorant discipline.

Over three years, Keyd Stars participated in numerous events, the main ones being Valorant Champions 2021 (where the team ranked 13th-16th) and VCT 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin (9th-12th place). It's important to note that the team worked hard to get through the qualifying stages for both these events. However, after the end of the 2021 season, the team couldn't maintain the same high level of play and became a mid-tier team in the Brazilian tier-2 scene, competing in the Challengers league.

The main reason for this decision was the unprofitable investment in Valorant, as supporting a team requires significant financial resources throughout the entire season, which lasts 6-9 months. Moreover, only one team among numerous clubs has the chance to make it to the top league and the tier-1 scene.
