Brazilian star aspas officially joins Leviatan Esports

Tonight it became known that professional player and one of the best duelists in the world, Erick "aspas" Santos, has officially joined the Argentine team Leviatan. Representatives of the organization reported this on their social networks, confirming rumors that had been circulating after the end of the current world championship.

Recall that before the start of Valorant Champions 2023, rumors emerged online that “aspas” would leave the roster of the Brazilian world champions LOUD due to a conflict with the management. After the championship, where LOUD took 3rd place, the player himself confirmed that he was leaving the team, and then information appeared that Leviatan would be the new home for the professional. Read more about this in our article. Today, the information was officially confirmed, initially the player's data appeared in the Valorant Champions Tour Global Contract Database in the list of active players of the Argentine team, and later both sides confirmed their union.

The current season turned out to be completely unsuccessful for Leviatan, as the team failed both major tournaments, in Sao Paulo and the regional competitions. They also took second place at VCT 2023: Americas Last Chance Qualifier, as a result of which they lost the opportunity to go to the past world championship. The Brazilian duelist will be a powerful reinforcement for the team, so perhaps in the next season, we will see the real debut of the Argentine club.

We want to note that even after the addition of aspas, the team's roster counts only four players. Therefore, to find out who will be the new addition in Leviatan, continue to follow our portal.
