K1zpawn Leaves SAW, and GrTw Joins

The Portuguese organization SAW announced the first changes to its Valorant roster at the beginning of 2024. Ian "k1zpawn" Rebelo has left the team, and Tiago "GrTw" Costa has joined in his place.

The team announced this decision on their official Twitter account. They bid farewell to Ian and wished him success in the future, and welcomed Tiago, hoping for his contribution to the upcoming Valorant Challengers 2024 Portugal Stage 2 event.

Ian "k1zpawn" Rebelo joined the team in September 2023. During this time, he participated in several off-season tournaments, which did not yield any prize-winning placements. However, official Riot events brought Ian several victories, including 1st place at VALORANT Challengers 2023 Portugal: Drift, and 1st place at VALORANT Challengers 2024 Portugal: Tempest Split 1. The reason for his departure from the team is unknown, but it is certainly not due to performance.

The team will now be strengthened before the upcoming tournament by the equally experienced player Tiago "GrTw" Costa, whose last club was ELEVATE. They faced SAW in the finals of VALORANT Challengers 2024 Portugal: Tempest Split 1, where the latter earned the victory. We will follow the player to see how he performs in his new team, against whom he previously competed.
