JoxJo joins RIDDLE to boost team's chances in VCJ Split 2

Japanese team RIDDLE has announced the signing of JoxJo to compete in the VALORANT Challengers Japan 2024: Split 2 Advance Stage and subsequent outings in the second split.

RID formed its Valorant division last December, merging with coach Vorz and three players from ZETA DIVISION Academy, along with players Seoldam and Maufin. Later, substitute player BNN joined the team instead of Maufin. They then participated in the VCJ open qualifiers, losing in the final showdown.

As for the new addition, JoxJo won national tournaments in 2022 with the team NORTHEPTION and in 2023 with the team FENNEL, also being highly regarded by many players in the Japanese scene as an experienced IGL.

With Seoldam taking on the role of team leader for the first time, JoxJo addition to RID is likely to be a huge step for them. Despite some concerns about roles, the team has high potential, and the likelihood of them making it to the Split2 league seems quite high.

Furthermore, RID has also announced the appointment of former Call of Duty scene player Virullent as an analyst. The team has strengthened ahead of Sp2, but whether they can advance to the Advance Stage remains a question.
