Jinggg secures the first place for the second consecutive year at the VALO2ASIA 2023 ceremony

At the VALO2ASIA 2023 awards ceremony, Wang "Jinggg" Jing Jie, the Singaporean player, clinched the top spot for the second year in a row after impressive performances against the toughest opponents throughout the 2023 season.

Jinggg first captured global attention in 2021 when he joined Paper Rex from Team SMG, replacing Shiba. As the most promising talent in Singapore at the time, Jinggg quickly adapted to high-level play, propelling Paper Rex to fourth place at VALORANT Masters Reykjavík and second place at VALORANT Masters Copenhagen. This year, Jinggg continued his ascent, showcasing some of the most stunning plays as Rayze and other agents.

JJ deserves the first place. He is a fundamental part of this legendary PRX era, and his playing style evolves and perfects alongside the team's growth. Jinggg aggressive gameplay is the epitome of PRX's play style. It will be challenging to find another player like him.

It's worth noting that Jinggg significant achievements this year include winning the first season of VCT Pacific League and reaching the grand finals at Champions LA. Additionally, his second-place finish at the 2023 World Championship should not be overlooked. At the season's conclusion during a press conference, the player expressed a desire to be remembered as the "crazy Rayze player."
