On April 5, JDG Esports earned their first group stage victory at VCT 2025: China Stage 1 against All Gamers, who have now officially lost all chances of reaching the playoffs. Meanwhile, EDward Gaming couldn’t handle the pressure from TEC Esports.
JDG Esports vs All Gamers
All Gamers and JDG Esports were the only two teams in Group Omega sitting at 0:3 after the third week of play. This match was a do-or-die for both sides — one would stay in the race for playoffs, the other would be eliminated. The match started with All Gamers’ pick (Split), which was tightly contested and went to overtime — JDG came out on top 14:12. On Pearl, JDG’s pick, All Gamers failed to put up a fight — JDG closed it out 13:4, securing a confident 2:0 series win.

EDward Gaming vs TEC Esports
Despite being underdogs, TEC Esports managed to challenge EDward Gaming and even took their opponent’s map pick (Lotus) with a 13:8 score. However, on Icebox (13:9) and Haven (13:5), the favorites regained control and closed the series 2:1. This marks the third win for EDward Gaming, placing them temporarily at the top of Group Alpha with a 3:0 record, while TEC Esports drop to 5th with a 1:2 score.
