JD Gaming announced YiHao transfer to the team's substitute roster

Chinese esports organization JD Gaming has announced the transfer of player YiHao to the substitute roster of their Valorant team. According to the official statement, this decision was made on June 8th. Consequently, YiHao plans to take a temporary break from competitive play.

YiHao, a 24-year-old player, entered the Valorant competitive scene in 2020, starting his career with LGD Gaming. He has passed through several top Chinese teams, such as Suning, KONE, and Rare Atom, achieving notable results, including second place in the VALORANT China Evolution Act 1 and Act 3 tournaments last year.

In January of this year, YiHao joined JD Gaming roster, which competes in international leagues. However, despite expectations, his performances at VCT CHINA 2024 Kickoff and Stage 1 were rather modest, and the team itself ended up in the bottom positions.

Despite recent additions to the coaching staff and team roster, his transfer to the substitute roster may indicate that YiHao will leave the organization in the near future.
