Current FENNEL lineup
The core of the team underwent minor changes after Hiroki "hiroronn" Yanai switched to the reserves, and Cho "JoXJo" Byung-yeon left the squad. Now the roster has been replenished with two new players who have experience performing on the professional scene, with one of the members having previously played under the FENNEL banner.
Daichi "Derialy" Doi is a seasoned 20-year-old player who was previously a part of FENNEL but didn't manage to achieve notable successes. Following that, the esports player moved to Northeption where he performed well on the Japanese scene and secured a 9-10 place with the team at the international VCT 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen. Northeption's run in the current season ended at Valorant Challengers 2023: Japan Split 2, where the team finished 5-6, thereby closing the path to the significant Challengers Ascension 2023 in the Pacific region.
Kento "GON" Hara is currently an inactive player for Crest Gaming Zst and joins FENNEL as a substitute. Throughout his career, Kento has played for many teams, but achieved his greatest results with his last team, Crest Gaming Zst. Along with other team members, he won two stages of the open qualifiers Valorant Challengers 2023: Japan Split. Like his new teammate Derialy, GON finished 5-6 at Valorant Challengers 2023: Japan Split 2 and will also miss VCA 2023 Pacific.
We remind you that today FENNEL will start competing in the Japanese qualifiers for Red Bull Home Ground #4. Eight teams will participate, including top teams of the professional scene such as Fnatic, DRX, and ZETA DIVISION.
