Jakee returns to professional Valorant scene, joins YFP Gaming

Former Cloud9 player Jake "jakee" Anderson has announced his return to the professional Valorant scene and has signed a contract with the American team YFP Gaming in the Challenger League.

Not long ago, Jake "jakee" Anderson announced his retirement from professional gaming following the termination of his contract with Cloud9. He expressed regret on social media for the time spent in esports and intended to focus on his education in the future. However, he unexpectedly signed another professional contract as a player.

Despite Jake "jakee" Anderson's addition to the YFP Gaming team, they were unable to defeat the renowned opponent TSM in their first match of the VALORANT Challengers 2024: North America: Mid-Season Cup. This led to their elimination from the tournament, finishing in 9-12th place, without achieving anything.

The next tournament for the team will be the Valorant Challengers League 2024 North America Split 2, which starts on May 29 and concludes on July 12.
