Jademwah Leaves NEON BLADE After Failure at VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA

The first stage of the women's competition at VCT 2024: Game Changers EMEA concluded just yesterday, and some teams have started making changes to their Valorant roster following disappointing results. Among these is the European team NEON BLADE, which is losing one of its key players, Jade "jademwah" Duffy.

The professional herself announced this decision on her official Twitter account. Interestingly, Jade is not only bidding farewell to the team and thanking her former mates for the amazing journey but also teases her joining a new club. The name of the team has not yet been disclosed, but the esports athlete assures that it will be known soon.

"From today, I am no longer playing with Neon Blade, as I have taken a new opportunity for the future. We had a great time together, but I felt this was the right move in my career, and I am very grateful to them for this time! Stay tuned for the new announcement!"

Jade "jademwah" Duffy joined NEON BLADE only in February 2024, right before the start of the women's European Valorant league. Despite her experience, the team completely failed at the tournament, finishing their performance in the group stage with an overall score of 1-3. After falling into the lower bracket of the playoffs, Jade's team suffered a devastating defeat in the quarterfinals and left the event.
