An insider has shared images of the upcoming Titan Esports Club (TEC) team capsule, which will be part of the Valorant Champions Tour and feature exclusive in-game skins. However, the community has expressed frustration over the choice of skins for these new capsules.
Renowned data miner and insider KINGDOM LABORATORIES posted a preview of the TEC capsule. Based on the images, the most noticeable changes include the introduction of player cards for Chinese teams and a color scheme update — TEC’s colors have shifted from red and black in 2024 to white and green for the new capsule.
This time, all VCT teams, regardless of region (EMEA, Americas, Pacific, or China), will have player cards in their capsules. Additionally, the EDward Gaming capsule will feature a unique champions animation to celebrate their Champions 2024 victory. This new incentive aims to motivate teams to fight for titles, as 50% of capsule sales revenue will be shared with the participating organizations.
One controversial decision from the developers is the continued use of the Classic skin design for the capsules, despite ongoing criticism from players. According to leaks, only the color scheme will change, with no major updates to the skin’s appearance.
The official release date for the VCT capsules remains unknown. However, rumors suggest they could arrive with the next patch, expected between January 8-10. Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming capsules and other Valorant innovations!
