The main tournament of the year, Valorant Champions 2024, has already begun, but while the match results are still unknown, Riot Games has released a short film dedicated to the first day of play.

An hour ago, a video titled "VALORANT Champions Seoul 2024 Day One Opening Film" appeared on the official YouTube channel of the VALORANT Champions Tour. It is a short six-minute film that tells the story of the players who will open the world championship. Considering the past experiences of previous tournaments, it can be assumed that Riot will release a new film for each day of play.

Although the short video features many emotional and thrilling moments, the most interesting part was in the trailer for the film itself, which appeared online a few hours before the release. It should be noted that during the first day of play, matches take place in Group B, which everyone calls the "group of death" due to the strong teams in it. And because of this, Mert "Wo0t" Alkan from Team Heretics, which competes in Group B, stated, "If our group is the group of death, then I'm a serial killer."
