Icebox is not ready for Valorant competitive scene: Another bug has been found on the map

The recently returned Icebox map to the competitive map pool, which has undergone significant changes, is currently not ready for the competitive scene as a new bug has been discovered that could complicate the game for both newcomers and professional players.

After the map's return to the competitive map pool, we noted a bug related to the agent Raze, who can use their abilities to jump onto a container at the B Main position. However, there were also shortcomings at point A. NRG's professional team analyst, Vladimir "vladk0r" Kornev, shared this on his page on X.

The new bug is related to the incorrect display of bullet traces. In Valorant, the traces left by bullets can serve as an indicator of whether a bullet has passed through an object or not. Thus, at point A, one of the boxes can create the impression that it can be shot through, but in reality, it cannot. More detailed information can be found below.

It is important to note that one of the developers who works on maps in Valorant responded to this issue under the video. He reacted to the situation and reported that their team would fix this flaw.
