"I would've benched Victor over Demon1": Boostio on the NRG roster changes in Valorant

Professional player Kelden "Boostio" Pupello from 100 Thieves shared his thoughts on the NRG roster changes in Valorant, where Max "Demon1" Mazanov was benched.

Kelden "Boostio" Pupello, a former teammate of Max "Demon1" Mazanov, the top player of the previous world championship (Valorant Champions 2023), voiced his opinion regarding the changes in the NRG lineup, where he did not support the management's decision and explained why.

Boostio agrees that Max "Demon1" Mazanov's current form is not the best, and such a decision makes sense. However, for the long term, he believes that it would have been better to bench Victor "Victor" Wong instead.

For how he was playing it makes sense, but in the long run I don't think its the best idea. I would've benched Victor over Demon1...

I think if you actually want a championship you have to have Demon1 on that roster.

Most likely, the player wants to say that Demon1 has not yet adapted to the new role and team, which is why his performances were significantly worse than in his previous team, but in the long term, the situation would change, so in the management's place, he would bench another player.
