Global Esports announces new Valorant roster

The Indian-based team Global Esports has announced the addition of new players to its Valorant roster. The team now includes players Kr1stal, kellyS, Papi (PapiChulo), patrickWHO (yokam), and UdoTan. The new roster will be led by captain Kr1stal and will primarily consist of players from the Philippines.

21-year-old Kr1stal first appeared on the competitive Valorant scene in 2020. In 2022, he moved to Japan to join the team BLUE BEES. This roster, consisting of Japanese players, gained attention due to its impressive performance. Later, while playing for SCARZ, Kr1stal won the VCJ 2023 Split 2 and became the champion of a Japanese tournament.

In November 2023, Kr1stal joined NWG and entered the Chinese scene, and in March 2024, he became part of XLG Esports, where he achieved victory in the VALORANT China National Competition Season 2. His team also participated in the Ascension Tournament for two consecutive years, earning the right to promote to the Chinese league for 2025.

Alongside Kr1stal, experienced players PapiChulo and kellyS have joined the roster. 27-year-old PapiChulo has established himself as one of the leading players in Asia since the CS days and has supported the NAOS team for nearly two years. kellyS, who played for RRQ and Oasis Gaming, also has significant experience, although he has not participated in international tournaments.

Additionally, young player yokem, with less than a year of experience, has joined the team after playing for Carti World this year. His impressive K/D ratio of 1.48 caught the attention of fans. UdoTan, a Korean player who previously played for Talon Esports and Rare Atom, has also joined the team and hopes to bring his international experience to victory.
