German professional player Mckonsti ends his career in Valorant

Yesterday, German esports athlete Konstantin "Mckonsti" Helm announced sad news for all his fans. After three years of competing on the professional stage, the player stated that he is ending his career in Valorant.

Interestingly, Mckonsti wrote this announcement on his official Twitter account, but it turned out to be quite unusual. Typically, when players leave the discipline, they summarize some aspects of their career, thank their fellow players and coaches, and also mention the reasons for their departure. However, in Konstantin's case, it was not so; only one message “retired” appeared on his social networks, and nothing more. Therefore, it can be assumed that the professional himself ended his journey in Valorant with negative emotions, about which he does not want to tell his fans.

Konstantin "Mckonsti" Helm began his journey in Valorant in early November 2020. During this time, he participated in seven different clubs, but achieved the most significant results with PENTA in 2022. Together with the team, the esports athlete won Project V: Crown The Champs and PROJECT V: Split 1 Finals with a nice prize of $5,000. Konstantin spent the last 2023 season in various stacks, but did not achieve success with any, possibly this was the main reason for ending his career as a professional player. During his time on the competitive scene, Mckonsti earned approximately $3,800.

As we reported above, Konstantin does not name the reasons for ending his career, so we can only make assumptions, or wait for official information, which Mckonsti may eventually provide.
