Geekay Esports continues roster changes, farewells head coach following two players

Just today, we wrote about the Saudi Arabian team Geekay Esports ending their cooperation with two players. A few hours after that, the club's head coach, Flavien "wallax" Lebreton, also announced that he has become a free agent.

In his official Twitter account, Flavien announced his search for a new home for the upcoming competitive season. However, unlike the players, the coach did not express words of gratitude and farewell to the former organization and did not mention Geekay Esports in his statement at all. He only talked about being ready to listen to new offers and listed his achievements.

I want to inform you that I have become a free agent. In the upcoming 2024, I am more motivated than ever. I am open to any region. Give me any test to show my knowledge, and you will understand why I am worth joining your team.

Flavien "wallax" Lebreton joined the team only in September 2023. In a short time with the club, he helped the players secure 3rd place at the Saudi eLeague 2023: Season 2. After that, his protégés again took 3rd place at the Superdome 2023 Egypt - LE & NA Qualifier, as a result of which they did not make it to the main tournament. Later, the team failed at Connecta The Ultimate Battle, finishing 7th and leaving the tournament during the group stage.

It is still unknown whether wallax has received offers from teams in the Middle East or other regions. But considering his vast experience as a 21-year-old coach, it can be assumed that the search for a new club will not take him much time, and we will soon inform you about his joining a new team.
