On December 21, the Brazilian esports organization Galorys announced the disbandment of its VALORANT roster. Contracts with seven players and coaches have been terminated.
Galorys, known for its success in CS2 and Call of Duty Mobile, entered the competitive VALORANT scene in November 2023. The team signed former Imperial Esports and Vivo Keyd player Evilkyk, alongside Sato, rood, lukxo, and Urango, who previously played for the amateur team MIXX.
In their first official tournament, the team delivered a solid performance, securing sixth place at VCB 2024 Split 1. In the second split, duelist Sato elevated Galorys to new heights, leading the team to win the Brazilian Challengers championship less than a year after its founding. At the Ascension tournament, where Galorys represented Brazil, the team secured victories against 2GAME Esports and RETA Esports but fell to M80, TSM, and All Knights, finishing fourth overall.
Hoje nos despedimos desse time que deu a vida dentro do jogo. Nossa line de Valorant nos trouxe momentos incríveis, marcados por dedicação, trabalho em equipe e conquistas que ficarão para sempre em nossas memórias.
