AsLanM4shadoW, a player who was part of BBL Esports from January 2020 to January 2024, reported on Twitter about a six-month salary delay. FUT Esports coach GAIS also stated that former BBL Esports coaches Vlad and Mavera had similar issues with salary payments.
GAIS accused BBL Esports of not paying salaries to AsLanM4shadoW and Vlad, who worked as head coach from 2020 to January 2024. Additionally, GAIS mentioned problems faced by aimDLL, a former BBL Esports player, with details to be revealed after Masters Shanghai.
GAIS also reported that the current BBL Esports coach, marqnue, did not pay the salary of former assistant coach Mavera. Moreover, GAIS disclosed that one of the coaches who assisted BBL at the Superdome 2023 Egypt tournament was involved in money laundering on the Twitch platform.
Following these statements, AsLanM4shadoW confirmed on Twitter that the salary issue did indeed exist but has now been resolved.
The fact is that I did not receive a salary for six months. The salary was delayed for a long time, but I have no complaints against BBL now.
Vlad also confirmed that the salary issues existed but are now resolved.
There were problems caused by a lack of communication. This process was between me and BBL, and I wanted to keep it to myself. Although I previously asked Eray not to intervene, he posted on my behalf, which made me explain. I was paid the salary for my time at BBL. This process has no end or winners. Please do not ask me about this anymore.

On June 1, BBL managing manager Luinwes left a comment on Reddit, denying GAIS's claims as unfounded, stating that there was no non-payment.
We are baffled by the baseless accusations made by GAIS from FUT Esports. The players and coaches mentioned in their tweets confirmed that BBL paid everything due to them. All payments were made according to our seasonal contracts. Not only the mentioned individuals, but all former and current BBL members received their due rewards.
