Team Liquid has released a documentary film about their campaign in the GC Championship

Last Wednesday, Team Liquid unveiled a documentary film chronicling their journey in the GC Championship, culminating in a defeat to Shopify Rebellion in the grand finals.

The film, titled "The Journey," provides an insider's look into Team Liquid experiences during the tournament. It includes interviews with players, coaches, and team staff, as well as footage from their practices and matches. Shopify Rebellion captain, Melanie "meL" Capone, praised the documentary film, singling out the leadership qualities of Team Liquid Natália "daiki" Vilela.

My respect for everyone at Team Liquid has increased tenfold, especially for daiki. She's only 19, and her leadership qualities are indescribable.

 

MeL noted that daiki maturity and humility at her age are astonishing. She highlighted daiki as a better leader than she was at the same age when she started as an IGL (In-Game Leader). MeL also emphasized daiki's ability to handle pressure and confront challenges, inspiring her entire team.

In the grand finals of the GC Championship, meL and her team secured a victory over Team Liquid with a score of 3:2. The young Brazilian captain expressed confidence in the documentary film that TL will make a return to the world championship in 2024.
