On December 17th, the grand final of Convergence 2023 concluded, featuring a competition between two teams from the European region - Team Vitality and FUT Esports. They battled for the tournament champion title and an additional cash prize of $15,000 for first place.
For the teams participating in the tournament, this event marked the last of the year. Only two out of six teams reached the grand final, both representing the European region. Thus, the grand final was a European derby with updated rosters.
The grand final was played in a best-of-five format, but the winner was determined in four maps. FUT Esports secured a hard-fought victory over Team Vitality with a score of 3:1, where three out of four maps ended with a score of 13:11. The Turkish club takes home the trophy and a cash reward of $25,000.
