FURIA parts ways with three players and head coach, leaving only heat on VALORANT roster

Brazilian organization FURIA has parted ways with three players — Khalil "khalil" Schmidt, Rafael "raafa" Lima, and Luis "pryze" Henrique — as well as head coach Pedro "peu" Lopes. The changes were officially announced on FURIA’s social media account on platform X.

According to the statement, Khalil, raafa, and coach peu have been benched and are now open to offers from other organizations, while pryze has fully left the club and joined another Brazilian team — 2GAME Esports. The main reason behind this significant roster shake-up is the team’s poor start to 2025: finishing 9–12th at the VCT 2025: Americas Kickoff and 11–12th at VCT 2025: Americas Stage 1. As of now, the only active player remaining on FURIA’s VALORANT roster is Olavo "heat" Marcelo.

Current rumors suggest that duelist Davi "Palla" Alcides from Stellae Gaming is expected to join the team, with journalist nandoshow reporting that both sides have reached a verbal agreement.

FURIA is listed as a participant in the upcoming Esports World Cup 2025: Americas Qualifier, where two final slots for EWC 2025 from the Americas region will be up for grabs. Their opening match is scheduled for May 17 against 100 Thieves.
