FURIA is fighting for survival in the VCT 2024 season

After a series of ten consecutive losses, the Brazilian team FURIA has emerged as the only one out of 44 participants who has yet to secure a victory in the current VCT season. Striving to change their fate, the organization is actively seeking ways to "rescue" the season.

According to FURIA CEO, Jaime Padua, the team intends to fight until the last chance and aims to qualify for the Valorant World Championship. However, restrictions on work visas for Brazilian players in the US create certain difficulties in making roster changes mid-season.

Given the current situation, FURIA has signed a contract with Alexandre "xand" Zizi, who previously played for the team in 2021. However, negotiations with the player Bryan "pANcada" Luna were unsuccessful.

As of May 23, 2023, a year has passed since FURIA last victory in the VCT. This victory was achieved against Leviatán in the quarterfinals of the VCT Americas 2023 playoffs. Since then, the team has experienced a prolonged series of defeats, becoming the longest in the tournament's history.
