FR1X leaves FUSION's Valorant roster after five months of collaboration

The American team FUSION had major reshuffles in their Valorant roster at the end of April 2024, but following the last tournament, changes within the team continue. Yesterday, it was revealed that head coach Rodrigo "FR1X" Vivas is leaving the club and beginning the search for a new home.

The coach announced this decision on his official social networks. FR1X did not disclose the reason for his departure from the team. Instead, he stated that he is ready to become a head coach in other second division Challengers clubs or move to an assistant coach position in the top league VCT.

Rodrigo "FR1X" Vivas is an experienced Argentine coach who has only changed teams three times during his career, the first two of which performed excellently in tournaments under his leadership. He spent the last few months with FUSION, but this time the coach could not lead the team to victory. The team finished 5th in the VALORANT Challengers 2024 LAN: Split 1 and 6th in the next stage, Split 2. Although no specific reasons were named, it can be assumed that the team's performance was the main reason for ending the collaboration between Rodrigo and the organization.
