Former FNATIC coach Mini calls for opening Valorant match records to the public

Since 2022, Valorant developers have announced the implementation of a replay system, but former head coach of FNATIC, Mini, has proposed an alternative solution. He called for the opening of VCT match records to the public to help players and viewers better understand how professionals play in official tournaments.

In light of the recent disqualification of Chet, former head coach of NRG, for posting videos with match records that included conversations between players and referees, Mini expressed that it would be beneficial to make individual views of each player available to everyone without commentary.

The game has been around for four years, and for regular users who are not coaches, it is really difficult to understand how professionals play in official matches.

Unlike CS and CS2, where all official tournament records are available for download, Valorant does not provide similar opportunities. This creates challenges for studying matches, and players often have to rely on archived broadcasts.

Mini stepped down from his position as assistant coach of FNATIC in September and is currently taking a break from his competitive career to focus on streaming. This experience may have made him realize how important it is to improve access to educational materials for players.
