For the third day in a row, professional players are leaving the Valorant discipline

More and more professional players are ending their careers in Valorant, and today this trend continues. Well-known American esports player of Korean descent, Emma "sHMeaty" Choe, has also announced that she is ending her journey in Riot Games' shooter.

Emma shared this sad news on her official Twitter account. She addressed her fans and stated that she will only have warm feelings for the discipline. She also thanks the people without whom her career would have been impossible, and those who supported her on this difficult path.

I think it's time to say that I am leaving Valorant. I enjoyed meeting the players who make up this community, and that's what I will miss the most. I wish success to those friends who remain and decide to enter this difficult period that is currently happening on the GC scene.

Emma "sHMeaty" Choe started her journey in Valorant quite some time ago, in 2021, but officially began competing on the professional scene only at the beginning of 2023, as part of FaZe Clan GC. Together with the team, she failed both stages of VCT 2023: Game Changers North America, as a result, the team did not qualify for the world championship. After that, the team's roster was disbanded, and Emma played in a few off-season tournaments, finally ending her career.

It is still unknown whether Emma has left Valorant forever. There have been cases where players have ended their careers and moved to positions as assistants, commentators, or coaches. Therefore, we will follow the official information to possibly learn about the player's return in the future.
