FlyQuest tried twice to acquire a partnership slot in the Valorant Champions Tour

The partnership with Riot Games in the VCT is something most Valorant organizations covet, but only a few manage to achieve it. The portal Sheep Esports recently shared intriguing information about the organization FlyQuest and their attempts to enter the partnership program.

Let's remember that FlyQuest is an American esports organization that competes in many competitive disciplines. The situation in Valorant has not been the best for them, resulting in the organization only retaining a women's roster in the Game Changers league. After the information from Sheep Esports was released, it became known why FlyQuest faced problems and how the organization attempted to enter the top league of Valorant.

According to the portal, FlyQuest first tried to enter the partnership program when information about the roster The Guard was revealed. It is worth mentioning that the latter won the American tournament Ascension, but due to management issues, the club was not admitted to the partnership. The FlyQuest organization attempted to buy out the players, but they were outbid by G2, who eventually acquired four players. The American organization's second attempt came after the scandal with Evil Geniuses, when the latter decided to leave Valorant and esports in general. FlyQuest planned to obtain the world champions slot, but Riot Games ultimately blocked this possibility.

It remains unclear why the company denied the organization the opportunity to obtain the slot. As a result of the unfinished business, Evil Geniuses retained the partnership spot but disbanded most of its players and will compete with a new roster in the future. FlyQuest, in turn, will be testing their strength in the tier-2 Challengers league.
