Famous Valorant player SicK has been hospitalized due to mental health issues

The renowned professional gamer and Valorant streamer, Hunter "SicK" Mims, found himself in the hospital facing mental health challenges. In a Twitter post, the American expressed gratitude to the community for their support and mentioned that he will resume his activities soon.

Yesterday, the player revealed that he was in the hospital due to mental health issues but assured that he is recovering. He also added that he would be returning to Valorant soon. It is unclear whether he meant a return to professional gaming or streaming.

I thought I was going to die, got rushed to the hospital, and now everything seems to be okay. Sorry for scaring you. But it made me grateful for being alive. I'll be back in Valorant soon.

Currently, Hunter "SicK" Mims is a part of the Sentinels organization, a team he has never left throughout his career. Over four years of competing on the big stage in Valorant, he has earned over $114,000 in prize money.

Following Sentinels struggles in 2022, SicK moved to the bench and did not participate in the team's performances throughout 2023. He focused on streaming and kept his career plans in Valorant undisclosed until today.

The support from the gaming community and fans has become a crucial element in SicK recovery. We hope for a complete recovery and future successes for this talented player.
