After another victory at the VCT 2024: EMEA Kickoff tournament, the head coach of the Ukrainian team Natus Vincere, Erik "Erik" Sandgren, gave an interview to journalist Pedro Romero. In it, he detailed the reunion with the star player Ardis "ardiis" Svarenieks in the club's lineup.
Erik "Erik" Sandgren has been leading the team since 2022 and was pleased with ardiis joining Natus Vincere. Previously, both talents represented the Chinese team FunPlus Phoenix. In the interview, the coach shared his impressions of ardiis gameplay after his transition to NRG Esports.
At first, it was amusing, it seemed like we had lost a bit of understanding, but we quickly restored our gameplay chemistry, returning to our days at FPX.
He also noted that the player returned with new habits after participating in VCT Americas, and now the team is working on integrating them. Erik emphasized that ardiis has already blended into their team as if he had never left. He added that when they had their first practice with him, he had a feeling that they had found what they had been missing so much.
